Join our team of gas a heating specialists in Chorley, Lancashire
PLUMBING & HEATING ENGINEERS
We have several positions for experienced quality Heating engineers working mainly with gas central heating systems but experience & or qualifications for oil or solid fuel would be useful as would experience of Solar Thermal Heat pumps or Biomass systems
SERVICE SUPPORT ENGINEERS
carrying out service and maintenance for our customers both in warranty and out and supporting our installers when the need arises. Working in domestic & small commercial premises on a range of gas appliances & boilers .You will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of appliances and electrical fault finding and be fully qualified We would also like to hear from you if you are a qualified Oil Boiler service engineer
FIREPLACE/FIRE FITTERS
We offer our customers a broad range of fireplaces and fires. We are looking for fire & fireplace fitters with the ability to where necessary alter and reconstuct or form a fireplace opening and refinish to a high standard fireplaces can be fitted with gas electic or solid fuel appliances. As with all our work it is important that you have the necessary skills and qualifications to carry out work to a high and safe standard
NB With this type of work we would consider people who have the ability to carry out the building work /construction side of the installation in preparation for one of our qualified engineers to install the required appliance. The work may suit someone with a background in construction ie bricklayer, plasterer etc
SOLID FUEL BIOMASS
We sell several ranges of multi-fuel/wood burning & biomass stoves both stand alone Stove and Wet stoves for heating and water. We are looking for qualified Hetas installers to support our central heating engineers
ELECTRICIANS
Our business is at the forefront of renewable technology solutions which are becoming ever more entwined with our traditional business. We are looking for fully qualified electricians who are looking for interesting and varied work along side the normal everyday work. If you have experience and or qualifications in PV work and or other renewable technologies or car charging systems then that would be helpful but not a necessity. We are prepared to help with extra training for the right people.
ROOFERS
Reliable roofing contractor for the safe erection of solar panels both on roof and in roof systems and other minor roof works that our customers may require ie flue lining chimney pointing etc
HANDYMAN / JOBBING PLUMBER
We are looking for someone with good general handyman skills who can help with our site maintenance and customer services jobs, the type of which do not require the attendance of qualified engineers. Initially this would be a part time post working to flexible timescales to suit both the company and employee. We would encourage applicants with a plumbing or building trade background who like to interact with people. We believe this post would suit someone who is perhaps ready to lighten their work load or semi retired but enjoys work and socialising with people
